ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

Entrepreneurship, value chains, and sustainable income generation.

Economic empowerment is rooted in the ability of individuals, groups, and communities to produce, structure, transform, and create value in a sustainable way. It takes place in contexts where entrepreneurship, collective organization, and a strong understanding of markets become essential levers for generating income and strengthening resilience in the face of economic challenges.

Within this dynamic, several areas of intervention can be mobilized. These include the structuring of income-generating activities, value chain analysis, the development of entrepreneurship among women and young people, support for cooperatives, the strengthening of collective dynamics, and the promotion of local transformation to increase value creation within territories.

The approach is grounded in a close reading of the field, in order to better understand existing production systems, economic constraints, and concrete opportunities. It aims to propose relevant, sustainable, and locally adapted solutions, while paying close attention to structuring, follow-up, and the real conditions required for impact.
